The department of Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with the Arab Fund for Technical Assistance to African Countries held a 5 day training of young scientists and engineers on conventional and non-conventional welding processes - arc welding- laser and laser hybrid welding - underwater welding at the university of Nairobi.

The training was held from Monday 5th to 9th of June, 2023 at University of Nairobi tower 4th floor room 404. 

It was conducted by visiting professor, Prof. Abdel-Monem El-Batahgy of the Central Metallurgical Research Institute, Egypt and a certificate of participation will be issued at the end.
