UoN COMPASSION DAY - THURSDAY, 4 MAY 2023 - 11.00AM

On Thursday, 4 May 2023 at 11.00am in Taifa Hall, Main Campus, the University will be having a Compassion Day to sensitize the University community and stakeholders on the need to support the less fortunate and vulnerable students in the University with tuition fees, basic needs such as food, shelter and other essential services in order for them to achieve their academic and career goals.

 

Capacity Building Program for the Nairobi Metropolitan Area Public Transort Operations

The  the Nairobi Metropolitan Transport Authority (NaMaTa) organized a four days training held from 24th to 27th April 2023 on E-Mobility and Low-Emission Vehicles. The training was a capacity building program in preparation for efficient and reliable public transport systems operations.

 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was represented by Mr. Enock Musyoka and Miss Fay Airo. During the training, attendees were taken through transportation planning, transportation operations and importance of E-Mobility and Low-Emission Vehicles.

INNOVATION INCUBATION AND COMMERCIALIZATION LAUNCH

Good news for the first cohort of 15 innovators comprised of students and staff of the University as they have been selected to go through a 6-month incubation and acceleration program.

This was revealed during the launch of the Innovation, Incubation, and Commercialization (IIC) program on Wednesday, 19th April 2023 at the C4DLab in the Chiromo campus.

2022/2023 Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund (GSNF) Board of Trustee Postgraduate Scholarship

The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters Programmes during the 2022/2023 academic year.

Interested candidates are invited to apply/re-apply for the scholarship through our online application portal (https://gandhi.uonbi.ac.ke) from Monday 1st August 2022.
