of any type of machine component and machine assembly. It covers topics such as elasticity and plastic
analysis, buckling, fatigue, plates and shells, numerical simulation, finite element modelling and analysis. It
employs numerical models that relate stresses and strains, displacements and deformations, material properties,
and applied loads.
